It is not the Spanish steps in Rome that should be the most famous in Italy. Those in Caltagirone beat the Roman ones in all categories. Starting with the number and finishing with the views at the top. Not to mention their beauty. Every step is a real feast for eyes making you feel ceramic dizzy. Each step is decorated with tiles with different motives. Each fascinates for a different reason. There is everything: from religious moitives through plants to fantastic ones – we even came across … dragons! I have never walked up the stairs so long before and never have „so long” passed so quickly.
